The workshop

Travelambo started in 2013 with one conviction: a wallet should disappear into a pocket, not sit in it like a brick. We cut, skive and stitch leather into thin wallets, card holders, zip purses, passport covers and luggage tags. Every design on this site came off our benches.

What we actually do

We pick the hides, cut the panels, set the linings and run the stitches. We decide how many card slots a bifold gets and how tight the leather folds around them. When a seam design does not survive a year in a back pocket, it goes back to the bench until it does.

How buying works

We keep the making side; the selling side runs through our retail partner. The buttons on this site open the matching listing there, and the partner handles the cart, payment, delivery and any returns under their posted terms. That split lets a small workshop reach carriers everywhere without running its own checkout.

What to expect from the leather

Real hide changes as you carry it. Vegetable tanned pieces darken, crazy horse rubs lighter at the folds, Napa softens. None of that is a flaw. If you want leather that looks the same on day 400 as day one, our carbon fiber textured pieces come closest.
